Churches together
Widdrington URC is a member of Widdrington and Ulgham Churches Together
Our partners are: the Parishes of Holy Trinity, Widdrington, St John's, Ulgham; Widdrington Methodists, who meet at Widdrington Community Centre; St Joseph's RC church.
Things we do together:
* Christian Aid: Christian Aid Week Service. A different congregation hosts each year. Details about the 2018 service coming soon.
We no longer have a house to house Christian Aid collection. However, the May Widdrington Day is a Christian Aid event to which Churches Together are invited.
The Big Sing in December: Organized by Widdrington Methodists in the Community Centre. The local first school do their own Big Sing
*Christmas: a leaflet with details of Christmas Services in all the churches is distributed round the villages. Everyone as welcome at all services.
Lent and Easter: details of Lent and Easter activities in 2018 will be published shortly
*Week of Prayer for Christian Unity:
There will be a united service in Widdrington URC on Sunday January 21st at 10.45am
